The Rossoneri could return to the top of Serie A as long as they win in Turin against the Granata and the Nerazzurri fail to beat the Old Lady.
This is all possible for Zambrotta who believes that his team are going through an excellent moment of form.
"We're doing well, going through a very good period," declared the former Juventus and Barcelona player. "Let's hope to continue like this, because this is the path which must accompany us until the end.
"We know that no game is easy, especially away from home against a tough team like Torino. However I hope that on Saturday evening it ends in a draw between Inter and Juventus.
"This way, a win for us on Sunday will allow us to reach the top spot, which is what we want."
Zambrotta anticipates a very hard-fought league in Serie A this year, with many teams in the top positions separated by very few points.
"There are many teams who are fighting for the top places in the standings," he continued. "It's a nice small group and it will not be easy until the end."
