The Rossoneri have focussed their attentions on him and may even launch a bid during the January transfer window.
Breno is regarded as one of the best defenders to come out of Brazil in recent times. He is strong, powerful and has plenty of pace, and it's little wonder as to why Bayern splashed out €13 million to secure his services from Sao Paulo.
Giovane Elber, who spent many years playing in the Bundesliga, has heaped praise on the youngster.
"He is like a dynamite," said Elber.
"He has the physique, the intelligence and he never misses a tackle. He is as cold as ice when he is on the pitch."
However, it hasn't been all good news for Breno as he has found his chances limited at the Allianz Arena.
This has prompted Milan to move and shake. Reports suggest the idea is to take the stopper on-loan with the right to make the deal a permanent one at the end of the season.
Il Diavolo have a good relationship with Bayern after their business with Massimo Oddo; this is likely to help get the ball rolling.
