Inter striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic admits he would prefer to win the Champions League rather than the Ballon d'Or and he is convinced Manchester United ace Cristiano Ronaldo will win the player accolade.
Ibra has been outstanding for his side this term, his goals have seen Inter shoot to the top of the table.
However, Serie A is not on his agenda but glory in Europe is.
“If I had to choose between the Champions League and Ballon d'Or, I would choose the Champions without a doubt,” Ibrahimovic told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
“I think Ronaldo will win the Ballon d'Or because he did really well last season, but then if you think about the Euros then [Iker] Casillas deserves to win it.”
The Nerazzurri qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League and are amongst the favourites to win it, and although Ibra has yet to score in Europe, he is not fazed by all the hype.
“I'm not bothered if people say I haven't scored in the Champions League. Last year I scored five in the group stages and I have hit seven goals in Serie A this season,” added the striker.
“The important thing is that we are through.”
All the Italian sports papers have been dominated by talk of a possible swap between Inter and Chelsea involving Didier Drogba and Adriano.
However, Ibra would rather play alongside the Brazilian despite his admiration for the Chelsea man.
“Drogba is a great player and has a strong physique but we have plenty of strikers. Adriano can make the difference and I like playing with him,” concluded Ibra.
