Like lambs to the slaughter, all three players will be sacrificed for Drogba and, like an eager shepherd, Mou wants him by hook or by crook.

Inter's insistance on signing Chelsea striker Didier Drogba could see the club deprive themselves of three of their best hit-men.

Following all the hype from earlier in the week, the Nerazzurri are serious about the idea of taking one of Jose Mourinho's former pupils.

Chelsea have already set the price and the Italians have wasted no time in reacting.

Sportmediaset claims Mario Balotelli, Hernan Crespo and Adriano will all be sacrificed in January to raise money for the Premier League star.

Crespo could be on his way to Real Madrid and, although he is likely to move on a free transfer, Inter would be saving a massive amount on his wages and this could be added to the money of the following two sales.

Adriano will be put up on the transfer list. His shaky relationship with the coach has seen him head towards the exit door and he will cost €10 million for any interested club, with Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea themselves and even Inter's rivals Milan expressing an interest in the Brazilian international.

Last but not least is Balotelli. The Italian wants regular football and if he doesn't get it then he will leave - he has made that clear on numerous occasions. A €25m price tag is on his head and again the likes of Real Madrid and Chelsea have been linked with the youngster.

Successful sales of all three players would likely provide more than enough money for Inter to prise Drogba away from Stamford Bridge, after the Ivorian himself has been less than committal with the Blues in recent weeks, despite his contract extension over the summer that saw him rebuff interest from Barcelona.
