Julio Cruz has had an up-and-down campaign so far. The striker has scored some important goals for the Nerazzurri recently, but also found himself at odds with coach Jose Mourinho, prompting speculation he could leave the club in January or when his contract expires at the end of the season.
The more popular transfer talk involves a move to Barcelona, Roma, or former club Bologna, but on Wednesday a new name entered the frame: Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad.
The Saudi Arabian club could likely offer the Argentine an extremely lucrative contract in order to lure him there as the 34-year-old's career winds down.
However, Inter president Massimo Moratti has already denied Cruz will be leaving last week, saying he is confident the former Feyenoord player will re-sign with the Milan outfit.
Cruz is expected to get the nod in the starting XI when Inter take on Juventus in the derby d'Italia on Saturday evening.
