However, the Argentine doens't seem interested in making the switch to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Crespo has sworn his allegience to Inter in what seems like a dramatic U-turn.
"I could go to another team but I would rather play less but win more," Crespo told AS.
"I would rather stay on and help the team win titles even if I play less football.
"Sometimes it happens where you will play less but that's how it goes when you are at a big club."
The latest reports from Spain suggest the player's agent Fernando Hidalgo has flown to Madrid to begin talks with the Merengues over a proposed deal but the striker doesn't really seem interested.
Inter are currently top of the Serie A standings and they clash with bitter rivals Juventus on Saturday night
