The Sweden international eased Inter to a crucial win at the Stadio Renzo Barbera that sent them three points clear at the top of the Serie A standings.
Ibra is in the race to land this year’s trophy and several figures have thrown their support behind the Beneamata star.
And ex-Portsmouth star Mutari is the latest name to throw his support behind the powerful striker.
“Of course he is worthy of the Ballon d’Or,” he mused after last night’s game.
“He is one of my teammates and I would certainly vote for him if I could, because he can do everything on the playing field.”
The Ghanaian midfielder has quickly gained coach José Mourinho’s trust at Appiano Gentile and put in an impressive performance in Sicily.
“The tie was hard-fought at the beginning, but we came out more determined in the second period and soon hit the back of the net,” continued the 24-year-old.
“We always gun for the three points and don’t have to look at other sides, but just think about ourselves and keep winning.”
