Tonight Zlatan Ibrahimovic proved decisive for Inter again as he scored a fantastic brace away to Palermo with a thundering long range drive and a hugely powerful free kick, which was clocked at 124 km/h.
After the game, the Swede revealed he had been practising his free kicks during training.
"Tonight I scored two important goals and the team did well," he said. "It was a tough game, we were playing away from home in Palermo, but everything went well. I'm very happy.
"I have hit a number of powerful free kicks in my career and I'm trying to improve my technique. I always work to get better at everything.
"It was a crucial victory and we are now top of the table. The next game against Juve is very difficult, but if we want to win the Scudetto we need a win."
Inter will not be able to count on defensive lynchpin Ivan Cordoba, who was booked in this match and will be suspended.
