Laporta: I Told You So
Joan Laporta is pleased to tell critics that he told them that things would fine at Barcelona, as he spoke ahead of a meeting of the European Clubs Association (ECA) at Camp Nou.

The Blaugrana president had bided his time before remembering people that criticised the club in the summer at a meeting of Barça Supporters' Clubs from around the world.
Back then he caused a stir by stating that things were not really as bad as people were saying at the end of a second campaign without a major trophy.
Following Pep Guardiola's installation as Frank Rijkaard's replacement and the incredible start to the season, Laporta was ready to remind those that said things were a mess in the summer.
"I said a few months ago that we were not that bad and it has turned out to be true," Sport quoted him as saying outside the ECA meeting.
"I knew full well back then that the situation was complicated, but I also believed that we were better than what was being said outside.
"The proof is that in a few months we have turned the situation around that, I repeat, was complicated."
