AC Milan have no intention of making an approach for Fabio Cannavaro from Real Madrid, according to their vice-president, and will instead aim for two other positions.

Adriano Galliani has dismissed reports suggesting that AC Milan were considering making an approach to sign Fabio Cannavaro from Real Madrid in January.
The Italian club's vice-president was reacting to rumours that the Rossoneri were ready to make a move and told Radio TV that they were in fact looking to bolster two different positions.
Corriere dello Sport stated in midweek that Madrid were ready to off-load Cannavaro as they will not be renewing his contract in the summer, when he can leave on a free transfer.
"Cannavaro in January? There is absolutely no truth in it. It is a story that has no truth to it," Galliani stated.
"We have already signed a great central defender in Thiago Silva who will join us in July.
"It is not true that we want to sign him. We are looking for a left-sided or central player and if that does not happen then we will stick with the players that we have."
