thumbnail Hello,

The coach believes Los Millonarios can come out of their shell...

Luis Zubeldia, the coach of Lanus, affirmed that Thursday's Copa Sudamericana rivals River Plate could surprise them.

"[River] have very good players and they can awaken at any moment," stated the young coach.

Zubeldia believes River aren't performing to their capacity when taking into account the quality they have in their squad, but that they are always very complicated to play against.

"The present of River doesn't have any relation to the class of players they have in their squad; they aren't going through a good moment, but they are always difficult rivals."

In respect to his team, Zubeldia said that for Lanus "every match is like a final. The players know what they are fighting for and now our objective is tomorrow's match, to remain in the Copa Sudamericana."

Lanus beat River Plate 2-1 in the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana match-up at the Monumental stadium in Buenos Aires.
