The Vinotinto man revealed via twitter that he was close to a move to Belgium, and will leave for Europe in the next few days to complete a transfer
Seijas, 25, appeared for the Colombian giants this weekend and scored in a 3-0 victory, leaving Santa Fe at the top of the pile after the first game.
After the fixture, he took the opportunity to respond to rumours from the Colombian press that a move across the Atlantic Ocean was imminent, and confirmed that Standard was a strong option for his future.
"I would to say here that there is a definite possibility [of a transfer], but as long as a contract has not been signed nothing can be assured," Seijas revealed through his personal twitter page, answering questions from fans in both Colombia and Venezuela.
"All the same, I am grateful for all the fond messages that you have sent me," he continued.
Despite his reluctance to confirm his departure, the playmaker looks set to leave Colombia. ESPN assure that the Vinotinto Copa America squad member left Bogota on Sunday to return to Venezuela, and from there will travel to Belgium in order to cement a deal with the 10-time Belgian champions.
