The team name is stever21, but the man behind this week's winning XI in Goal.com manager is Steve Stylianou. After besting all-comers he won the prize of a brand new BlackBerry for finishing first in Goal.com Manager's Quarter-Final Stage First Leg.

Steve lives in Cyprus, where he follows Greek giants AEK Athens as his favourite team. And even though the Kitrinomavri failed to make the CL this year, he's been tracking Europe's premier competition with interest, and showing his knowledge of football in the process.

As a reminder, here was his winning team from last week:

We caught up with the winner to ask him about his football life, his Goal.com Manager tips, and about the fantastic prize of a BlackBerry.

"I'm Steve Stylianou, I'm 27 years old, and I'm from Limassol in Cyprus," he told us.

"My favourite team is AEK Athens, but I only play football myself occasionally. For my Goal.com Manager team, I went for those whom I saw playing for winning clubs."

This was a shrewd move, as his two most profitable selections - captain Samuel Eto'o and defender Branislav Ivanovic - play for clubs that picked up convincing victories.

"Eto'o, as well as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is one of my favourite players," he explained.

"But for my others, I was 99 per cent sure that Chelsea would beat Liverpool, so I selected a lot of Chelsea players this week.

"What's more, it was a tight match, so I chose those who could score from corners and free-kicks."

In the event this turned out to be spot on - something that Steve and Guus Hiddink both noticed!

So, Steve will soon be getting a fantastic prize, courtesy of BlackBerry. Why not check out BlackBerry and our other sponsors here?
