Eredivisie outfit Groningen will be without Serbian playmaker Goran Lovre for an estimated two weeks because the former Anderlecht star is being plagued by knee trouble.
Lovre has been troubled by the problem for some time but initially managed to play through the pain barrier. However, the discomfort is becoming unbearable and the midfielder will visit a Serbian doctor in order to fully recover.
Inter star Dejan Stankovic was being plagued by the same kind of knee trouble and was successfully treated by the doctor Lovre intends to visit.
The experienced playmaker isn't the only unavailable player for Groningen. The Green White Army will also be without Petter Andersson, Nicklas Pedersen, Jeroen Veldmate and Sepp de Roover for Sunday's match against Heracles.
