thumbnail Hello,

The England striker has sat out the Three Lions opening two matches, but is guaranteed a return to the side for the final group stage match. Will Hodgson's decision be vindicated?

England manager Roy Hodgson has announced Wayne Rooney will return to the Three Lions starting line-up, for the clash with co-hosts Ukraine on Tuesday evening.

Rooney missed the opening two games through suspension, having been sent-off in Montenegro during England's final qualifying match and during his time on the sidelines has witnessed his team-mates have accrue four points, with a 3-2 win over Sweden, preceded by a 1-1 draw with France.

Nonetheless, Hodgson feels Rooney is the man to ensure a place in the quarter-finals, and we at Goal.com want to know how you feel the 26-year-old will get on in Donetsk?

Will Hodgson's decision to bring back the Manchester United forward be vindicated by goals?

Or will the heat of battle in Donetsk prove too much for the 26-year-old and see the red mist descend once more?
