The votes are in and it's an unanimous decision - Uruguay's goalscoring hero Luis Suarez was the best player at the 2011 Copa America, according to Goal.com users.

Suarez, who scored a double in Uruguay's 2-0 semi-final victory over Peru before another strike in the final against Paraguay, received an incredible 77 per cent of the vote.

Paraguay goalkeeper Justo Villar came in second with 8% of the vote, with Peru's Golden Boot winner Paolo Guerrero receiving 7%, and Uruguay skipper Diego Lugano grabbing 6%.

For the record, the Liverpool striker, who finished with four goals in Argentina, was also voted the Most Valuable Player at the tournament.
