Jonathan de Guzman and Lior Refaelov scored hat-tricks from midfield for Napoli and Club Brugge respectively to make the UEFA Europa League Fantasy Team of the Week for Matchday Four.
The playmakers earned 18 points each for their exploits in Rafael Benitez’s side’s 3-0 victory against Young Boys and the Belgians’ 4-0 triumph away to Copenhagen.
They are joined in the engine room by Wolfsburg’s Aaron Hunt and Diego Lopes of Rio Ave, who both netted two goals for 12 points, and Claudio Beauvue, who laid on a goal and an assist for Guingamp to collect 11 points of his own.
Jonatan Soriano, well-known by now for his prolific Europa League form, looks like being a contender for the top scorer prize once again and took his tally for the season to five with a hat-trick (and 14 points) for Red Bull Salzburg against Dinamo Zagreb.
Sparta Prague’s David Lafata also notched two more goals - as well as an assist - to keep the pace with Soriano at the top of the goalscoring charts and earn 13 points.
In defence, Phil Jagielka scored in Everton's win over Lille and Costa Nhamoinesu did the same for Sparta Prague to deliver 12 points for their fantasy managers.
Domagoj Vida was also among the goals, picking up 11 points, for Dynamo Kiev and Guingamp’s Jonas Lossl is in goal after saving a penalty against Dinamo Minsk.
