The Argentine winger remains upbeat about his side's chances as he believes they have what it takes to turn things around in the return
The Portuguese giants were beaten 1-0 in the first leg of their semi-final in Istanbul on Thursday, but the 22-year-old is still optimistic about his side's chances of making it to the showpiece at the Amsterdam ArenA on May 15.
"We cannot be happy with the result, but we are confident we can change the course of this tie at home, in front of our own fans," Salvio was quoted as saying on the official Uefa website.
"I can't really say what went wrong tonight [Thursday], but at this level sometimes small mistakes can have large consequences.
"And this is exactly what we saw tonight, with a 1-0 which was the result of a defensive error.
"But we as a team are sure of ourselves, and still believe we'll get through to the final."
The return takes place in Lisbon on May 2.
