Ambitious German side Hamburger SV dominated play against Anderlecht in Thursday's Europa League tie and the Rothosen were rewarded with a 3-1 home win against the Belgians.

The final result pleased holding midfielder David Jarolim, but the Czech Republic international wasn't too happy with the goal Anderlecht scored in the dying seconds of the first half.

"Overall we are content. It would have been a lot more useful without that goal against us, but that is always the case in European football," Jarolim told uefa.com.

"We had two or three chances to score a fourth goal, but unfortunately we didn't and that would have made a big difference. We are still confident we have what it takes to progress though."
