Valencia Midfielder Ever Banega Wary Of Werder Bremen
The Argentine says Los Che must focus on playing their own game...
By Paul Madden
Valencia midfielder Ever Banega has declared that his side must concentrate on their own game when they take on Werder Bremen in the Europa League at the Mestalla on Thursday.
"We know about them because we faced them in pre-season. It is a tough opponent with great potential, but we have to forget about them and focus on ourselves. We're at our pitch with our fans," he told a press conference.
The Argentine central midfielder also stated that he hopes Los Che don't have to play any more league games on a Monday, having played two of their last three games on a Monday.
"Again we played on Monday, it has to stop soon. A point is better than losing and we add a point. For us it was important to beat Racing, it was a chance to get away from Sevilla, but we must keep working, keep calm because and always go out to win," he remarked.
