Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is delighted after his side placed one foot in the Europa League last 16 after beating Ajax 2-1 at the Amsterdam ArenA on Thursday night, but feels the home team were lucky to score.
Miralem Sulejmani struck first for Ajax after 16 minutes before a double from Amauri swung the game, and tie in Juve's favour.
Buffon feels the Ajax goal was fortunate as the ball went straight through him.
"Look at the goal tonight, it was lucky, but they happen," he told Juventus.com.
"They hit us on the break and he [Sulejmani] shot the ball really well, but he was also fortunate because the ball went in between my legs.
"If he had struck the ball either side of me then he would have hit my shin," he concluded.
