Defender Nicolas Burdisso claims that Roma are aiming high after their win over city-rivals Lazio and are confident of obtaining the Europa League trophy this season.

"After winning the derby we want the Europa League. We do not want to stop here," he was quoted as saying by romagiallorossa.com.

"We're a great team and we showed that we are finding an understanding with our coach [Cladio Ranieri]. We are going through a great moment, now we can see the Champions League zone and we will not stop fighting until the end of the season.

"I said in August that one of the great things for us this season would be the Europa League, we have the means to win it and now that we have surpassed the first stage we believe even more."

The 28-year-old joined the Giallorossi on loan from Inter this past summer and has made 16 appearances in all competitions in 2009-10.
