We Want To Finish First In Our Europa League Group - Roma 'Keeper Julio Sergio
The goalkeeper is aiming for the top in the Europa League...
After pulling off two important saves against Basel in the Europa League, Roma goalkeeper Julio Sergio has the belief that the Giallorossi can first in their group.
The Lupi secured maximum points thanks to goals from Francesco Totti and Mirko Vucinic, moving them to 10 points with one game remaining.
"We are on the right path," the custodian told Mediaset Premium. "We are moving forward gradually, and know that we can do well.
"We knew that Basel is a squad that likes to play football. They move well, and put us in some difficulty on occasions. We must continue to win, as we want to finish first in the group."
The Brazilian also remarked on the upcoming Roman Derby against Lazio on Sunday night.
"It is a match that goes beyond the table and the conditions of the pitch and the players," remarked the shot-stopper.
"We need to work hard during the remainder of the week, and prepare ourselves mentally," Sergio concluded.
