With basically the last move of the game, Genoa's Giuseppe Sculli was able to score and sink Lille 3-2 in the Europa League.

But his destiny was already written, as according to the Rossoblu forward, he instinctively knew what to do.

"When I launched for the attack, I instantly knew what needed to be done," Sculli said to UEFA.com post-match.

"I stopped the ball, and then shot it as soon as I could.

"Luckily, it went in.

"It is an important goal, maybe the most important since my arrival at Genoa.

"I am really happy that we played a very good match," the 28-year-old summed up.

Genoa's next task will see it take on Siena this weekend in the league.
