The Italian missed the clash against Milan on Sunday following an on-going problem with his right knee. Totti has been unable to train properly, and he will remain in Rome to continue working in the gym.
Juan and Marco Motta are also ruled out with injuries, suggesting Claudio Ranieri is likely to start with the same team that played against Milan.
Here is the list of players the coach has picked for Thursday's trip to west London:
Goalkeepers: Lobont, Artur, Doni.
Defenders: Cicinho, Andreolli, Mexes, Riise, Burdisso, Guberti, Cassetti.
Midfielders: Pizarro, Taddei, De Rossi, Perrotta, Greco.
STRIKERS: Okaka Chuka, Menez, Baptista
