Serero to rejoin South Africa squad for Botswana qualifier

The Ajax Amsterdam striker has left the national team's training camp due to the passing of a family member
Thulani Serero will rejoin South Africa after Saturday’s 2014 World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia in Rustenburg.The Ajax Amsterdam winger was granted compassionate leave following the passing of his father, with the funeral taking place this weekend.
Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane told Serero to take as much time as he wants, and it seems as though the player will get straight back into the action ahead of next weekend’s qualifier against Botswana in Gaborone.
A KickOff.com source in the Bafana camp revealed that, “Serero has indicated he will return to camp on Monday with a hope to being part of the team that takes on Botswana.”
