The midfielder is focusing on keeping his club afloat in the South African PSL, and will consider the seasons ahead once the current campaign is complete
Pattison joined Santos during the Premier Soccer League (PSL) January transfer window after falling out of favour with Johan Neeskens at Mamelodi Sundowns.
The midfielder has pledged that he is committed to helping Santos keep their premiership status – even if the team ends up in the play-offs.
"I couldn't say now … I just want to get to the end of the season and hopefully Santos stay up then I'll think about my future, because I don't know where I'll be at," he told KickOff.com.
The former Newcastle United and Norwich City player says he does not regret coming back to South African to play for Sundowns, although he does not see himself playing for the Pretoria side again in the future.
"I've enjoyed it here, especially my first two years at Sundowns. It was a good adventure, I'll always look back on it and I'll never say that I'm done with South African football.
"It's something I'll always be fond of, and who knows who might come knocking, however, I don't think I'll ever go back to Sundowns."
