The talented midfielder wants to end the Premier Soccer League season with a bang

Orlando Pirates midfielder Mark Mayambela says they will fight all the way when they host Golden Arrows in their final League match at Orlando Stadium on Saturday.

With Ajax Cape Town having one hand on the League trophy, Pirates' chances of winning the title rely on Maritzburg United beating the Urban Warriors. If they draw in Cape Town and the Buccaneers win their match at Orlando, then the Soweto giants will lift the title.

Mayambela admits that Ajax are in the driving seat going into Saturday's final matches, but says they will need to work hard to beat Arrows and will only worry about the outcome in Cape Town after the match.

"Ajax have the upperhand as they are number one at the moment and it's their title to lose," he told KickOff.com.

"Of course we would like to win the title, but that will only be determined by the result between them and Maritzburg. We are aware that if they draw and we win our game, we will be the champions.

"We will go all out to win. We need to focus on doing our job first and we will see afterwards what happened in Cape Town."

Pirates have been battling to score goals recently and needed an extra-time winner from Tlou Segolela to progress to the Final of the Nedbank Cup, but Mayambela is confident that they will convert some of the chances on Saturday.

"In the last few games we were unlucky; at least we are creating chances. We just need luck to convert them and I'm confident that we will convert those chances come Saturday," he added.
