Ethiopian striker Fikru Tefera has resurfaced back at SuperSport United and is closing in on a deal that will see him re-unite with the club he played for before leaving for Czech Republic last year.
Tefera was taking part in the league champions' training session yesterday morning, sweating it out with the rest of the team.
According to Kickoff.com, Tefera could be back playing for the club, with inroads having already been made to acquire his signature.
With Gavin Hunt, who brought Tefera to SuperSport from Orlando Pirates, still around, it is clear why the Ethiopian is returning.
Hunt is a big fan of towering strikers in the mould of Tefera, who will have to fight it out with Tshepo Bulu, Kermit Erasmus and Glen Salmon up front.
Tefera has been back in South Africa for the past month after terminating his contract at FK Mlada Boleslav just a season into the two-year contract that he had agreed with the Czech Republic club.
