South African Jabu Mahlangu Set For Move To Swedish Club Osters IF
Mahlangu is heading back to Europe..
The player’s manager, Mfundisi Mabalane, reveals that Mahlangu is in Sweden undergoing a medical assessment and the club is set to make an offer.
"Jabu is back in Sweden with Osters IF and from what they have told me, they are impressed and would like to have him around. The club will make an offer, most probably next week, and I do not foresee any challenges disrupting the negotiations.
"He is looking forward to resuming his career there as the club has been promoted to the Second Division."
Mabalane is confident the former Bafana Bafana man will bounce back, saying the atmosphere in Sweden is right for the player. There were no reports of controversy around the 29-year-old, as was the case previously, the last time he was in Sweden on a short-term deal.
"I have no doubt he will bounce back. He settled in well in Sweden the last time and I do not foresee him causing controversy as he will not be having his South African friends around him," Mabalane added, according to Kickoff.com.
The player, who has 20 Bafana caps, is currently clubless after severing ties with Platinum Stars.
