Kaizer Chiefs And SuperSport United In Four-Team Tournament To Open Peter Mokaba Stadium In Polokwane

Chiefs and SuperSport will join Brondby and Bidvest Wits in a stadium-opening tournament.
Kaizer Chiefs have been pitted against SuperSport United in a four-team international tournament to mark the official opening of Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane next Saturday.

Also invited to the tournament are Danish team Brondby IF, who have been drawn against Bidvest Wits in the other semi-final.

Matsatsantsa communications’ manager David Skhosana told  KickOff.com that details regarding kick-off times for the tournament will be released in due course.

“Chiefs and SuperSport will play in the first semi-final with Wits and Brondby featuring in the second game. The winners of both games will play in the final on the same day.”

The Peter Mokaba Stadium will host games at this year's World Cup in June, and after the tournament the people of Polokwane will be left with a world class stadium to use for various community endeavours across several sports codes.
