Mamelodi Sundowns striker Manqoba Ngwenya is expected to be unveiled as a new AmaZulu player before the end of the week.
Ngwenya, who has been out of favour with Mamelodi Sundowns coach Hristo Stoitchkov, is reported to have already agreed on terms with Usuthu and is expected to sign on the dotted line when the club returns from playing against Ajax Cape Town at the Boland Stadium today.
Usuthu publicist Philane Mabaso confirmed to Kickoff.com that their negotiations with the Brazilians for the services of Ngwenya are at an advanced stage.
“Our coach has indicated to us his great interest in Ngwenya and his belief is that he may be an AmaZulu player soon.”
Mabaso also reveals that striker Ayanda Dlamini won’t be part of their line-up against the Urban Warriors today due to a yellow card suspension whilst striker Myron Shongwe is also out due to a knee injury.
