Mamelodi Sundowns Dismiss Daine Klate And Anthony Laffor Transfer Talk
Mamelodi Sundowns have dismissed reports that they are after the services of SuperSport United duo Daine Klate and Anthony Laffor.
The Sowetan newspaper reported today that Mamelodi Sundowns were
engaged in negotiations with SuperSport United in a deal that would see both Anthony Laffor and Daine Klate move to Chloorkop and either Siboniso Gaxa, Elias
Pelembe or Katlego Mphela making the switch to Matsatsantsa.
In a statement released on the Brazilians’ website today, club communication manager Alex Shakoane termed the report as “ridiculous”.
“And I want to go on record as saying that we are not in talks with SuperSport as reported. Our players and supporters should not read much into these reports,” he said.
Earlier this season Shakoane denied reports that Pelembe was joining Sundowns but the Mozambican international ended up on Patrice Motsepe’s payroll at Chloorkop.
