Soweto Derby Is Not Everything - Orlando Pirates Coach Ruud Krol
Orlando Pirates coach Ruud Krol spoke about the upcoming Soweto derby...
“Of course that is a very big match, but there are 21 equally important matches remaining for us. If we beat Kaizer Chiefs it doesn’t mean we will be champions,” the Dutchman stated in the latest issue of Kick Off magazine.
"After a match we can have 50-million Pirates coaches having their say, but those coaches are neither winning or losing a match, which is very different to the coach sitting on the bench.”
Pirates have been wasteful in front of goal in recent matches but Krol believes the players in his squad are talented enough to get the job done.
“We have a lot of players who can score goals. I understand it is better to have a striker who scores in every game, but we have a lot of attacking players but of course having a striker who scores will always be more suitable,” Krol said.
