Sibusiso Zuma Returns To Play In Denmark

Zuma has returned to the country where he played some of his best football a few years ago...
The former Bafana Bafana midfielder-cum-striker has signed a short-term contract with Danish side FC Nordsjaelland.

He returned to Denmark recently to attend a friend’s wedding and FC Nordsjaelland invited him for a trial. Zuma was still on Mamelodi Sundowns’ books and according to Kickoff.com it is unclear if it is a loan move or outright purchase.

Zuma made his name in Denmark while playing for FC Copenhagen, a team he joined in 2000 from Orlando Pirates. He left Copenhagen in 2005 to join German side Arminia Bielefeld, from where he joined Mamelodi Sundowns.

FC Nordsjaelland confirmed on their website that Zuma has signed a deal that runs until the end of June 2010 and added that he has been handed the number 10 jersey.
