Dillon Sheppard Confident He Will Be Back Next Month For Platinum Stars
Dillon Sheppard is hoping to be back in action by the time Platinum Stars face Bloemfontein Celtic on October 3.
‘Sheppy’ will spend Wednesday at the doctor getting a bone scan after he picked up shin splints a few weeks back.
“Fortunately we caught the problem early, and because I’m with such good doctors, there’s now no problem at all really,” Sheppard said to Kickoff.com.
“It happened after we trained on some very hard grounds and then shin splints followed. I’m happy to fight my way back into action in time for the Celtic match early in October.”
The Premier Soccer League side will miss one of their star players while he recovers, as he has been in fine form since the beginning of the season.
