Mamelodi Sundowns' Robyn Johannes Wants The PSL Title
The defender has asserted that his sights are firmly set on winning the Absa Premiership league title this season, as well as playing at the 2010 World Cup..
“There are two things I want this season. I want to play for the national team and more importantly, I want us to win the league title,” he said to PSL.com.
“That is something that everyone at this club wants and it is something we are capable of doing. It’s going to be a tough season but one cannot expect an easy passage.”
“As for the national team, I mean, who does not want to play at a World Cup. It’s a huge honour to play for your country and I hope to catch the national coach’s eye. But first I have to make sure that I contribute to our (Sundowns) quest and that I perform consistently.
“Look, if I don’t get a call up I will accept it, that’s the way of the game and there are very good players in this country so yes, it won’t be a problem as I still have time on my side," the 21-year-old concluded.
