News that former AmaZulu player Mohammed-Awal Issah has returned to Red Star in Serbia and will resume his career there puts a question-mark over Bernard Parker’s future in Belgrade next season.
Disclosing Issah’s return to KickOff.com
yesterday, the midfielder’s agent, Mike Makaab of ProSport
International, said that the Ghanaian midfielder and the Serbian club had
resolved their differences and that his protest against the club will
no longer be heard by FIFA.
Makaab, however, said that Parker’s case against the Serbian giants was
still with FIFA and no date had yet been set for a hearing.
Questioned about whether the former Thanda Royal Zulu striker had
received any offers after his great showing in the Confederations Cup,
Makaab declined to discuss the issue, saying that the matter between
Red Star and Parker would first have to be resolved before they could
map the Bafana Bafana hitman’s career for next season.
