Ghana’s Emmanuel Baffour: I want to keep scoring for New Edubiase

The striker continues to produce the goals in almost every game, proving what he is capable of in attack for his club
New Edubiase striker, Emmanuel Baffour, says that scoring in each game is the target he has set for himself regardless of the end result.

The 24-year-old is the leading goal scorer in the top flight of Ghana football with 20 goals from 25 games this season.

“It comes with hard work, but at the same time it’s fun too,” Baffour told “I want to keep scoring to move my team forward and it also helps me a lot.”

Baffour scored a late goal against bottom side Wassaman on Sunday, but was not enough to save his side from the 2-1 defeat.

“I’m happy to have come this far and I still want to go far,” said the local striker, who was dropped from Ghana’s 2012 Africa Cup of Nations squad.

“I have made a point and I hope my work will speak for itself,” he added.
