Ahead of that cracker, here are the results of this weekend’s games.
Sunday, April 8
Arsenals 2 - 1 Liberty
Heart of Lions 0 - 0 Medeama
Edubiase FC 3 - 2 Dwarfs

Hearts of Oak 3 - 0 Wa All Stars
Saturday, April 7
Mighty Jets 0 - 0 Aduana Stars
Bechem United 2 - 1 Tema Youth
Heart of Lions 0 - 0 Medeama
Kpando-based Heart of Lions are still struggling to find their feet in the summit of Ghana football. Their encounter with Medeama ended with a goalless draw, taking them to the 11th spot with seven games to go.
Edubiase 3 - 2 Dwarfs
This game produced the most goals of the weekend in Ghana. The top scorer of the league, Emmanuel Baffour, once again found his name on the score board to increase his tally to 18 in 23 games. It was a good day for Edubiase and the win ensured they remain in the top four.
Arsenals 2 - 1 Liberty
The hosts took advantage of home support to snatch all points at the Golden City Park. The Gunners now move to third from bottom to at least give them a breather from the relegation lounge.
Wassaman United 1 - 3 Kotoko
The league leaders, Asante Kotoko, are now 10 points clear at the summit of the league log following a 3-1 win over Wassaman. The Porcupine Warriors recovered from a goal down to defeat the Tarkwa-based club. Evans Nyarko first opened the score sheet for the home side, but goals from Kotoko’s Ben Acheampong, Michael Anaba and Sacko Iddrissa ensured a smooth ride for the Fabulous club.
Hearts of Oak 3 - 0 Wa All Stars
Accra giants Hearts of Oak are pressing on for the title and mounting pressure on rivals Kotoko. A 3-0 win over Wa All Stars gives newly appointed coach C.K Akunnor his second win from three games. Former Ghana regular Laryea Kingston got a goal for the Phobians from the spot while James Abban and Sadat Karim added the other two.
Mighty Jets 0 - 0 Aduana Stars
Mighty Jets missed the chance to strengthen their position in the bottom half of the table in the league on Saturday after being held to a 0-0 draw by Aduana Stars.
Bechem United 2 - 1 Tema Youth
Richard Addai bagged a brace to put Bechem in the lead against Tema Youth, who scored the consolation through Abel Hammond.
