Rwanda's friendly match against neighbours DR Congo hangs in the balance, according to Times Sports.

It is understood that DR Congo are yet to make a confirmation on the proposed fixture. The match had been organised to be Amavubi's final build-up ahead of next month's crunch 2010 World/African Nations Cup qualifiers against Egypt.

"We are yet to get a confirmation from DR Congo," FERWAFA's chief executive, Jules Kalisa, revealed.

Meanwhile, Amavubi's Croat coach, Tucak Branko, has summoned a 24-man squad to start preparations. Atraco's pair of Aloua Gaseruka and Jean Shyaka have been overlooked while APR's Jean Mugiraneza 'Migi' is included after missing last week's friendly against Tanzania due to a knee injury.

Other new faces in the side include Mukura's duo of Daddy Biriro and Hussein Mbanze.

Branko's charges are under pressure to win against Egypt. After managing a point from a possible nine, the team is placed at the bottom of Group C. Egypt edge Zambia in second spot; both have four points, three behind leaders Algeria.

Amavubi team called to camp include:

Goalkeepers: Jean Claude Ndoli (APR), Jean Luc Ndayishimiye (Atraco), Patrick Rutayisire (AS Kigali) and Nkorankwerese (Mukura)

Defenders: Bonaventure Hategekimana (Rayon), Elias Ntaganda (APR), Aimable Rucogoza (Rayon), Jean Bosco Uwacu (APR), Arafat Serugendo (APR) and Amani Uwiringiyimana (Atraco) Daddy Biriro (Mukura) and Hussein Mbanze (Mukura).

Midfielders: Albert Ngabo (Rayon), Jean Shyaka (Atraco), Jean Mugiraneza (APR), Donatien Tuyizere (Atraco), Haruna Niyonzima (APR), Pekeyake Tuyisenge (Rayon), Jean Pierre Hakiri (Rayon), Abdul Uwimana (Rayon), Jamal Mwiseneza (Rayon)

Strikers: Bokota Labama Kamana (APR), Jimmy Gatete (Rayon) and Andre Lomami (Atraco).
