Stendardo Excited About Olimpico Return

Lecce defender Guglielmo Stendardo is looking forward to face his former side, Lazio, this weekend at the Olimpico stadium in the sixth matchday of Serie A.

Stendardo has some beautiful memories from his experience with the Biancocelesti and is therefore excited about the idea of facing his former team.

"It's useless to hide it that Saturday's game against Lazio has a particular emotion for me," admitted the Lecce defender to Radio Kiss Kiss.

"It will be special to play at the Olimpico after obtaining some nice success with the Biancocelesti's shirt, the highlight being the participation in the Champions League and the clash against Real Madrid.

"Yes it will be exciting: after all I'm a Lazio player and I'm convinced that it will be a nice game. I passed two and a half wonderful years in the capital city, during which the entire squad did better than expected.

"Then the club decided to change. They were technical choices and after that everyone did his own evaluations."
