The Veronese club have wasted no time in replacing the sacked coach as they have welcomed former Mantova and Parma coach Di Carlo.
The coach was at the club's headquarters this morning where he signed a contract and he will be unveiled at a press conference later today, taking his first training session after that.
A statement on the club's official website reads:
"A.C. ChievoVerona would like to communicate that Giuseppe Iachini has been relieved of his coaching duties.
"The club would like to thank the coach for all his hard work and for the results he achieved last season as well as his professionalism and dedication.
"We would also like to inform that the first team will be coached by Domenico Di Carlo and he will be presented to the press at Veronello at 14:00."
It's the third sacking of the season so far in Serie A after Stefano Colantuono and Daniele Arrigoni both lost their jobs at Palermo and Bologna respectively.
