"I don't know, right now I haven't received any phone call," Pillon affirmed to Radio Kiss Kiss.
"For the time being, no-one called me up. I read on the newspapers that I was linked to the Chievo Verona bench.
"However, my first thought goes to Iachini: I don't usually try to jinx my colleagues."
Still, Pillon is raring to get back in the hot seat so he would welcome a phone call from the Flying Donkeys.
"When one is at home, he always waits anxiously for a phone call to return to work on a bench," he concluded.
This would be a return to the club Pillon coached between 2005 and 2007, when he led Chievo to a prestigious seventh-place finish in the 2005-06 season - later upgraded to fourth place and Champions League qualification following the Calciopoli scandal.
