Iachini: I Don’t Know What Happened
Chievo Verona coach Giuseppe Iachini was left speechless at the end of his side’s Coppa Italia exit on Saturday following the 1-2 defeat at home against Padova.

A lot of disappointment surrounded the players and coach of the Flying Donkeys, who were surprisingly knocked out of the Coppa Italia yesterday as Padova made it to the next round against all odds.
Iachini was unable to find an explanation for what happened and will now need to work hard in order not to let this blow harm his team’s morale and confidence ahead of the Serie A kick-off next week.
“These are games which are difficult to examine,” explained the coach at the end of the game.
“We had many goal scoring opportunities which we failed to take advantage of. The game seemed to be jinxed.
“However, the important thing is that the team always creates, but we must be more careful and concrete.
“This defeat allows us to work harder.”
