Bologna have recently acquired Aparecido Cesar from Inter Milan, but according to reports new coach Sinisa Mihajlovic wants to bring at least four new players into the squad during the January transfer window in order to bolster the team.

Recent rumours had placed Vincenzo Montella in the Felsinei shop window and it was believed that the relegation battlers were considering a move for the Roma-owned striker, who struggled to secure a reasonable amount of playing time with the Giallorossi and may have been willing to make the move to Bologna.

Bologna have squashed these claims and declared that there is no truth to the rumours of any interest in the former Italian international.
