Bologna continue to make noise through their aquisitions. After securing the services of Sinisa Mihajlovic as head coach, the Rossoblu signed former Lazio and Inter winger Aparecido Cesar and it has been revealed they are considering bringing in even more talent during the January transfer window.
On Tuesday, the Gazzetta Dello Sport hypothesized that Bologna could go after seldom used Roma players Vincenzo Montella and Simone Loria and today sporting director Fabrizio Salvatori did not rule a move out, but admitted it was too early to definately say their transfers would occur.
"There is nothing happening at the moment," said Salvatori to LaRoma24.it. "It's only Novemeber but they are players who could contribute to the cause of Bologna and many other clubs. They are both players who have a career that speaks for itself."
Montella has seen very little time on the pitch since returning to Roma from Sampdoria in the summer. Meanwhile, Simone Loria filled in because of injuries to the backline on occasion, but has not impressed in those apperances for the Giallorossi.
Salvatori finished by explaining that Cesar represented Bologna's first objective and the club would continue at looking to ways to strengthen, but at the present time no negotiations were happening.
Currently, Bologna are in the midst relegation battle, with just eight points from their opening twelve matches in Serie A.
