Torino coach Gianni De Biasi was clearly disappointed at the result and especially the performance against Siena, which has left them hanging dangerously close to the drop zone.

The Granata were hoping and expecting that this would be a calm season, with the team reaching a mid-table position without too much difficulty.

"I agree with what the president said and even I excuse myself with the fans for the game against Siena," declared the Toro coach. "All of us were hoping in a different league position.

"At Siena we saw a less aggressive and determined Toro than I had expected: during the entire week I tried to instil the concept of the game importance.

"We did not show the right temperament which we should have right now and which we showed in other times.

"We got lost especially in the half hour following Siena's goal."

The defeat means Torino are still in 17th place, one point above Reggina, after 14 rounds in Serie A.
