Patience Was Key To Success, Says Cagliari Coach
Cagliari coach Massimiliano Allegri was very satisfied with his team’s 1-0 win in the Coppa Italia on Saturday against Triestina, but more importantly he was very pleased with the performance of the entire squad.

Allegri hailed the performance of his team as they saw off Triestina’s resistance last night to book a place in the next round of the Coppa Italia.
“Qualifying and winning always pleases you,” admitted the Rossoblu’s coach.
“We had the patience and strength of not exposing ourselves to their counterattacks and finding the right chance to open the score.”
Allegri’s main worry was that his team spent a lot of energy and to tire itself out in trying to beat Triestina, considering that the Serie A kick off is just around the corner.
“The squad spent a lot of energy in facing Triestina, as they care mostly about defending,” he concluded.
