Gers' Burke A Target For Forest - Reports
Nottingham Forest are lining up a bid to bring Rangers winger Chris Burke to the club during the January transfer window, according to a number of reports in the British media.

Burke is currently out of favour at Ibrox, and Gers manager Walter Smith has already admitted there will be a few departures in January to make room for new additions on the club’s wage-bill.
Burke, who turns 25 next month, is on £12,000-per-week and was reportedly watched by Forest’s chief scout Keith Burt as he played for Rangers’ reserves against Inverness CT on Tuesday night; he is said to have put in a decent performance.
And the former back-to-back European Champions are looking to pounce for the winger in January as they look to haul themselves clear of the relegation places in the Championship.
Burke, who has recently had injury problems with his ankle, has made 129 appearances for the Glasgow giants in all competitions, but is understandably unsettled by his current absence from the first-team picture.
As yet it is unclear if the player would welcome a move to England, with none of the relative parties having released a statement on the matter thus far.
